Colour Negative Development

Well after breaking my last film development tank, I have now managed to get developed my film from the last month. How can these tanks break? They need to be held at 38’C to develop film, yet mine cracks whilst cleaning it in hot water?! Thanks to some great sellers on eBay, in a matter of days my new one is here.
